Is Discrimination on YOUR Town Meeting Agenda?

Only days after New Hampshire celebrated the start of marriage equality and the wedding bells rang, our opponents decided to crash the equality party.

Rep. David Bates and other opponents to marriage equality have launched “Let NH Vote” – a town meeting strategy designed to pressure the legislature to pass CACR 28, a constitutional amendment defining marriage as between one man and one woman.

This is about taking away rights from families and overturning marriage equality, pure and simple.

Rep. Bates and others are trying to frame this as a voter’s rights issue. But the people behind this have long opposed the freedom to marry. This is really a vote to discriminate - and just the latest in a long list of efforts to restrict civil liberties.

Help us educate people about the real intent of the town meeting vote to discriminate, expose who is funding this initiative full of slick signs and materials, and continue to stand-up for equality.

I’ll stand up for marriage equality in New Hampshire!
